I can't take things too seriously... |
One trap I've always gotten myself into is taking things too
seriously...like the conflicts on here for example.It's just
life.conflicts happen.There's no point in me getting too upset with
other people's posts.This is an unmoderated group full of diverse
people,of course conflict will happen.and the wonderful thing about
usenet is that you can walk away.noone forces me to read a post if I
don't want to.words can sting sometimes,of cource,but I can let it
go.they're just words,from people I don't have to have any contact
with if I don't want...I guess the important thing is to get what you
want from a group like ASD and leave the rest.I always have trouble
with perspective,proportion and context...I take the wrong things too
seriously,or the right things too lightly,or whatever...like with most
things,it's hard to find the balance...

I've been shying away from returning here for the past couple of weeks
because of some of the bs that was flooding the group. I think I know what
you mean. I basically try to to take seriously the people who are serious,
and dismiss the annoying fuckwads.
