There's been this one job in the kitchen project that has been
daunting and taunting be for two weeks -- the lights.
I was so afraid I'd screw it up and not be able to fix it
afterward, that I stopped working on the kitchen. I just
agonized over the lights.
Well, Today I cut six holes in the ceiling, rewired the attic to
better distribute the load, and installed six recessed-can
lights over the counters. With a dimmer switch!
It looks so cool, I can't wait to get back to painting the
cabinets and installing the floor, so I can see the finished
project. (And, coincidentally, have a kitchen again and be able
to cook meals.) I don't even mind that my neck is killing me! =D

Cool! I wish I was handy with home-improvement. I can remove a lint
trap---that is the extent of my inbred craftmanship.

Years, and years of screwing up . . . I mean experience!
Even a blind chicken finds corn, and even monkeys fall out of
trees.

HAHA... true. Well sabra I have had a shitty weekend mentally. None of
my diversions worked. I went to the farmers market and brought home a
nice salmon filet. So I am about to eat a ginger marientated(sp) filet,
some brocili, a nice rosemary bagquet wiht olive oil and a glass of
mondavi. I have not been taking care of my health at all and vowed
tonight I would cook something good. Maybe this will be the beginning of
at least watching my health. Whats on your plate tonight?? Did you
take the bike out any today?

Oh, man! Nice! Maybe you could send me some of your recipies?
Whats on your plate tonight??
Grilled chicken sandwitch -- no kitchen. It's not bad, actually:
garlic, basil pesto, and mozzarella.
Did you take the bike out any today?
Nope, spent the day in the attic.

No recipes,,,,just grab some spices and cook. It kind of comes naturally
to me. Maybe I got my skills by osmosis from living with foreign
roomates for 3 years. Right now I am going to try some new tea to sleep.
Ah *****! I just remembered I wash all my sheets, etc. The downside being
now I have to make the bed.
