Right now we're infested with trolls, the Usenet equivalent of
pubic lice. The healthiest way to deal with that problem is to
killfile topics that look as if they're not about depression.
Among the rest of us, there are many people who have been here,
on or off, for quite a few years. There are established
friendships, ongoing discussions (or arguments, depending on your
point of view), and quite a few in-jokes.
That aside, I think it safe to say that the majority of posters
here are depressed and trying to deal with it. We have
discussions about medication, talk therapy, and stuff like that.
We talk about relationships and family and work and health and
just about anything else that is impacted by our depressions.
We listen, we understand, we share.
Are you looking for a particular kind of support? Or do you just
want to know that there are other people who have the same issues
that you do? How can we help you?

It's all a matter of context. You have to get to know people somewhat and
be part of the thread from the beginning or it's not likely to make sense.
