i don't know how |
to put things in order .. i 've have a million zillion bagailllion things
spining around in my life.
famlily -----STRESSSSSS
work ---- working on at least 6 project at once and they all need to be done
NOW (says boss) .. then there are the quick
"oh can you stop what you are doing and fix these 500,000 web pages before
the end of the day" .. call come in at oh 4:30
...
then well there are all the other things in my life ...my work to improve
myself .. to work hard to not be depressed ..to move forward ..
how does one handle it all all with out being sent to the rubber room?

perl? like in the language? no i use dreamweaver .. i build/fix/update web
pages all day long .. when i'm not writing user manuals.

Perl can be used for all sorts of tasks. I wrote a script that went through
an entire university's web content to change all links to relative links so
we can transition stuff around and not break their sites. Once done it took
a whole day to run through over 40,000 student and faculty directories and
fix their HTML. It would have been agonizing/impossible to do by hand (or to
teach the users and have them done in the time we needed it.)
