I've never seen an adware tool report it. I imagine Sourceforge.net
would also kick their ***** right off in a heartbeat if they did that too.
Did you get it from their official site?

I don't know where the bit about your registry comes from.
But if it's not software you want to use then obviously I can't force it
on you.
I just suggest it as it's worked well for me and it's from a reliable
source so *I* can feel confident that nothing unwanted has been
installed on *my* computer.

yea , i took the original idea from you ,
and i tried it and it installed nicely ,
but i couldn't figure out how to find songs or save them ,
then after i tried to delete it , or , uninstall it , for a better word ,
the unistaller worked fine , but later , when i was ,
polking around in my registry i found , ' Shareeza " keys all over the place
so don't misunderstand my appreciation in you effort to share a good program
with me , i'm just saying when i tried it it was a not so good experince for
me

i use Phex, an open-source client for Gnutella, Limewire, Bearshare. it's
very easy to use. you just need Java JRE.

I stick with torrents mostly when it comes to music. Sometimes I use
K++ when I can't find a torrent. Who needs p2p when you're in the warez
scene?

yeah warez is good, FTP, DC, i2hub, whatever it is you use. the Gnutella
network is pretty good. i found like 20 versions of Riva Stringer. there
is a ton of selection. but when i search for hacking tools like Canvas, i
have little luck. and no $50,000 firewalls on Gnutella either. i did find
a copy of a $4000 auto-rooter i was looking for.
but Gnutella rocks for music, highly recommended. most of them are 128 to
192 kbps, which is reasonable. i even see full uncompressed CDs.

I think most people find the Java Java Runtime Environment to be too

There's also a group out there that offers a version called "Clean
Limewire" but I don't know much about how clean it is or if it's kept
maintained well.

I have an old (free) version of eMule. Haven't had a problem with it. The
only p2p where I was able to find all the episodes of Gerald McBoing Boing,
(an old Dr. Seuss cartoon from the 50's).

That's what I like about shareaza, it connects to the edonkey, gnutella,
gnutella2 and torrent networks all in one package. It makes finding
quirky things like that easier
