i dressed today |
today was the first time since last wednesday that i left the
house. been nursing my back and doing nothing. so i decided to
dress for the occasion.
good lingerie, silk blouse, slacks, dress coat, nice boots. not
my usual jeans and cotton shirt. wore my contact lenses instead
of just grabbing my glasses. even skipped breakfast because i
took too long getting ready.
nobody else noticed. saw the pdoc, no comment from him, either.
but at least i knew.
i have a therp appt on thurs. maybe i'll get dressed again.

But that's the really imiportant thing, isn't it, Lisa?
It sounds that you looked just fabulous! I know when I take the time and
effort it makes a big difference in my morale.

I sort of like getting dressed fancy, but when I do it's so out of
character that I'm always asked about it. I don't think women get
questioned about their wardrobe like that.

i expected to be asked. it was probably the first time in 9
mos or more than i wasn't dressed for a party and wore
something other than jeans and a tshirt/sweatshirt or sweater.
