I expect people will think as I do... |
to some extent,as I've said many times,I think of ASD as a journal or
a diary,a place to work out my issues...I often notice that when I'm
discussing my views on things,I honestly think most people are gonna
think the way I do..I know that's not really logical,but a part of me
just assumes people will agree with me,or maybe I just want everyone
to always agree with me...I guess it's kind of like my aesthetic
tastes.I love it when people like the same movies,plays,music
ect...that I do.When people don't share my tastes,a part of me feels
bad about it...

As a child, and as a young adult, I used to think sort of that way, too.
That other ppl really, way down inside, 'must' feel the same way as I on
important issues of right and wrong, and compassion and values.
But as I grew up, I found that 'really' way down inside ppl don't always.
It's hard to imagine, because we come from our place inside ourselves, not
everyone sees out of our eyes.
On matters of taste, like songs or movies, I never have expected that
everyone else would like the same things. that's just personal taste.
