Unnatural food is bad for you.

The opinions given above may be mine. They might also

I lost 8 lbs when I trained for the marathon. I've gained them all back
since I stopped running seriously. You're not going to lose weight by
just eating low fat and/or low sugar ice cream. You're going to have to
get out and move.

do you run mainly for PR reasons?
i've won some age-division stuff in 5 and 10 Ks. not much, but not bad
considering i am a fair-weather runner. i plan to train for the mile soon.
but there are hardly any mile races out there (just a lot of fun runs).

Most definitely. I'm a disgusting fat body. I ran a 5 miler at the end
of May, I just beat a 73 yr old man by about a minute.
Actually, I run for many reasons. Mostly because I enjoy it, but I also
want to control my weight. My goal with the marathon was to finish, I
never thought I'd break 4 hours.

We ran 5K in high school. My best memory from the high school years.
My best 5K was 17:56, I beat my older brother's best time by 1 second
(on the same course). Woo hoo! :-)
Where do you live?
