A shaven head is more work than hair.

I wore my hair short. It got trimmed maybe once a month. It didn't need
shampooing, or conditioning, so that was it. I shave my head every day.

I don't think you'd look hideous, shaved heads can be very sexy on some ppl.
I like to do drastic things to myself once in a while, almost like making
myself over.
Thus 7 tattoos, or dye job, etc.

my hair's just making me fucking angry lately.. ..it was getting real
thick and shaggy.. ..so I went and got a haircut on Sat, and it ended up
just being fucking bad.. ..the stylist used the thinning shears like a
mo-fo, and I feel like I'm balding, my hair's so thinned out now, wispy and
short, and strangely proportioned. I asked her to razor cut it, but she
said she wasn't comfortable with that, and could do the same job with the
thinning shears.

I've never shaved my head before, so I dunno what's under there.. ..but I
guess not fussing over my hair anymore might be nice..
I'm gonna sleep on it though, thanks.. !

get a GI Joe cut(pv does this every now and then)
a grade 1 into a grade 2 at the sides and a grade 3 over the top.
is great not having to fart arse around with combs etc
the other benefit is that i live 2 miles from RAF Halton training camp
and the local indian take away offers 15% discount for servicemen which
i claim as i look like a squaddie.

hey ty...sorry to hear you're goin' thru some mad stress right now. it
sounds like you're really struggling lately.
if you wanna shave your hair, do it. it's just hair...it's not such a
biggie. maybe you'll meet someone new who likes shaved heads.
i think you need to reach out to the people who care about you more
often if you're feeling so isolated.
i know how it feels to feel so completely alone in your parental
responsibilities. being a parent to 2 young children can be so all
consuming at times. I know you must be getting really concerned now
that the second one will be here any time now...
things will fall into place. the babies grow...things change.
you're gonna be fine, ty. try not to focus on your problems too much.
try to find a positive activity to focus on. that's what i try to do
anyway.
reach out to your friends. at least you won't feel so lonely &
isolated.

thanks punk, your right that I need to do all these things.... ..it seems to
be getting harder and harder to reach out to the people I need most.. ..I
don't know why - whether it's them, or me, or whatever dynamic it is - maybe
I've made myself invisible/ambiguous to them.. (?) ..I guess I'm just
not feeling "fulfilled" lately.. ..I feel alone even in the sparse moments I
can be with friends.. ..like, I'm not getting enough time to really sink in
with them and *connect* like I used to, like I want/need to, like I
think/assume they want to with me.
and you're right about finding other activities.. ..diversions.. ..I
think I'm gonna go play Mario 3 right now, after I finish my baby budget on
Excel..
