It is a tough time for many people. For me it's probably December that
marks the beginning of winter. January/February are also very tough due to
the hostile weather.

It is a tough time for many people. For me it's probably December that
marks the beginning of winter. January/February are also very tough due to
the hostile weather.
My mood starts dropping in October, and only lifts in April.

I hate the month my brithday is in the middle of. I also hate the

the year changes to a new year. Both are age markers. And I *hate*

Oh, weather. Don't really care here. Last week got myself way too
sunburnt,
as it was around 40C which sux, winter months - days are a bit
shorter, but
not really cold enough to use a heater unless you go further inland

you might find snow, or places of higher elevation. I'd actually like
it to snow
in winter here where I live.
Yeah, it's a bit screwed up. In an ideal world everyone would get the
same,
some sun, some snow, yada yada yada. Not extremes.
Just be glad you don't have high temperature with high humidity. No A/
C.
That is probably the worst weather condition that exists. You can
protect
yourself from cold, heat+humidity where your body gets to the point it
cannot cool itself makes you sick, very quickly. In my case I reach
for
the salt/energy drink thing and drink a shitload of water with it. I
don't
understand how overweight folk deal with those conditions, a lot of
them
don't look well.

yep, this is a bad time for me too...hype of Christmas gone and a busy
time of year for me, and several more months of cold St. Louis winter
to endure...but its 67 degrees here right now and we just had a
tornado watch, eerily spring like so I'll enjoy it while it lasts.

You and I are fairly close, Bacon. I'm in the Tulsa area of Oklahoma,
and we also have had great weather the past 2-3 days (70's). It's been
windy but I'll take it! I think it will cool off again soon, though.
Strong storms and tornado watches are just south of us this evening.
We can hear the thunder and see lightning in the distance but should
miss the really bad storms. I hope they miss you, too. Jeanne
