I'm sort of like that. When the ciaos in the office stopped, I'd become
completely lethargic. No energy left, I'd have no idea how tired I was
until it stopped.

i found the worse time to be when the bars ,
put the tables and chairs out on the sidewalk ,
and i'd have to walk by all those beers on such hot days ,
so many times i just wanted to reach over and grab one ,
and just keep walking as i gulped

except that they're all sober now, and worrying about the
holidays. you can't get out of my brother's house without
drinking at least a couple of glasses of wine. there's
nothing else except tap water and kid juice.
So, drink the wine and throw up over the dog. Put the
stress on them.

exactly. my therp and i were talking about how i can't handle
any kind of stressors lately, positive or negative, without
falling apart. thursday is thanksgiving here, and there will be
about 25 people at my brother's house. i'm going to be a mess.
Before depression, I used to get a migraine when the stress came off. I
can date that back at least four years before the breakdown. After a
while of only migraining on holiday, it moved up a notch to happening
every weekend. Now I fall apart if something good happens, as well as
negative stress. Thanks to that MAOI for minimising it.

I definitally relate to that. I hear you. the slightest amount
of stress makes me cry, and makes me want to drop everything and get
away, if not die.

thanks. i wish it were peaceful, but i have thanksgiving and a
night at my parents' house ahead. i'm going to have to find some
time for recovery next week. it's probably a good thing i'm in
my day program.
