My cleaning girl makes more money working for me than a taxi driver or
working for a factory. I am her slave all right.
Oh I believe you. When I lived in GTO for a month my ex and I hired a
cleaning lady and apparently the amount of money we paid her each week
to
clean was a fortune compared to what she made elsewhere. It wasn't much
by today's standards, like 35 a week, but she made enough in one day
that
her husband made working all week.
I pay her 20 bucks for three hours work. My apartment is so little that
she
does it very quickly. What takes her longer is to cook, and do the
laundry.
She is so discrete with the neighbours that nothing comes out of her mouth
when they try to know about my private or our private life when I lived
with
my ex. For example, when she is asked whether my ex will come back, she
says
she doesn't know. She is reliable. I could leave any amount of money
anywhere and she touches nothing. She follows instructions to the point
that
she is the only allowed to clean my computers room. She has many more
virtues I will not mention not to tire you.
Before she comes here, she nurses an old woman (she is not a nurse, but
the
old woman wants her) and helps her in her flat. She does there another 35
bucks. So, in all she makes 55 bucks in the day. That's a considerable
income here where everything is so much cheaper than in the States. And
she
works even Saturdays.
She is younger than my daughter and has not married because she wouldn't
marry a bloke who touches alcohol. She simply detests drunkards and men
who
look for adventures with other women. Her father is an example for her and
she would only accept someone like him.
