i have too much to do |
so i'm hardly doing any of it. working on getting through
laundry now. we leave for chicago tomorrow morning. i don't even
know if we have enough cat litter for the extra pans. someone
will be looking in on the cats, but probably not every day. the
house is a wreck, the boys' rooms aren't ready for them, as i
stripped their beds and haven't remade them. no one job is too
big, but together it's overwhelming.
i guess i should go do at least one small project...

Hi Lisa - I kinda know what you mean. at least 95 out of 100 things
that I am supposed to do, I never get done. because I just can't, just
can't. One can only do so much with the strength & willpower & time
that one has to work with. One cannot be expected to do ALL the things
that one is *seemingly* supposed to do. Ya know? I hope you have a
good trip to Chicago (again). I'm leaving for Indiana tonight for the
funeral tomorrow morning. I have basicly nothing done. I am just
*going* the rest of it doesn't matter, It's all too much with this
killer heat & humidity. I hope you have a safe and relaxed trip.
Don't feel like you gotta do everything, you don't have to, and
shouldn't have to.
be safe, and, not overwhelmed.

thanks aaron. i got most of the necessaries done. i'll have to
do the actual packing in the morning, but that should be no
sweat. as joe says, if i forget something, there are stores
there, too.

have yourself a safe and pleasant trip, lisa
try to remember that musical phrase "poco e poco"
(little by little)
i too end up overwhelmed oftentimes looking at the whole, rather than the
parts........i have to remind myself to break it down into smaller parts or
i'd never get anything accomplished........and i'd really end up feeling
worse then......as well as more rattled/splintered than usual......not a
good cycle
i can really relate to how you feel/what you're saying
again, have a safe and pleasant trip!
justa
ps all foster critters are now in a safe and loving home : )
you can't imagine the weight that's been lifted off my heart (and
head).....that one was at least the size of The Rock of Gibraltar or
something.........
now.......to tackle all the extra fur everywhere......whew
poco e poco big time lol

First, relax. Stroke a cat or three. Brush if they like it. Say goo-goo
a lot. Calm down.
Then you can panic because you've wasted all that time.

The opinions given above may be mine. They might also
just be what I feel like saying right now, okay?
