i think it's my puddy tat. in fact, i'm pretty sure it's her. it sounds
like paws on glass. :)
it's 20 something degrees out there...i bet she's screaming, "i'm freezing
my furry arse off, so open the door and let me in NOW!!!!"

Awww. You're a good cat mommy. Mine kept repositioning herself on me as I
kept changing positions in bed, tossing and turning until I felt like I was
a mechanical bull and she was just there having a good time riding me on top
of the covers. Then when I finally stopped and settled in, she walked up
the length of me and stuck her nose in my eyeball, as if she was putting
another quarter in the bull and I should resume bucking and writhing for her
amusement. Cats, they own us.
On the other hand, Fred reported to me this morning that since he moved a
new chair into his bedroom upstairs, all the other four cats that usually
sleep with him have now totally deserted him and are sleeping all over the
chair. So perhaps there is just some mysterious cat-shifting force at work
in this house, as if there is a mini Gaia effect with everyone realigning
and finding some new balance. Jack Handey undoubtedly has some Deep Thought
that could be inserted at this point.

Oh, I'm just jolly, thank you! I was just in the bathroom looking at myself
in the mirror for the first time today -- always a pleasant What Fresh Hell
Is This? experience first thing in the morning -- and my eyes seem to be
swollen like little pig slits. I am charmed by my own beauty. I was going
to go out shopping early today, but perhaps in the interest of not leaving a
trail of stone statues in my wake as I encounter my fellow citizens of
Seattle, I shall wait until my countenance achieves a rather less Gorgon
Medusa-like appearance before making my fellow shoppers the innocent victims
of my startling new visage.
I hope your day is starting out better! :-)
There's almost always a late night chat or two with the orca, but I think
the orca-human Universal Translator might be busted. I kept hearing bursts
of high pitched squealing, and while I'd like to think I'm exciting, I'm not
*that* exciting. I mean, sure, if I'd been asking "what are you wearing?
ASL?", but when it's just "so how is that new browser working, think that
one is worth switching to?" then I'm afraid it's just the translator and not
the considerable charm of my typing. Ha! Yeah, we were just
typing-chatting last night, but I probably totally outed him to the women of
asd with that little commentary on The Voice, didn't I? I guess I owe him a
security detail or two now. I could try going into the kneecapping business
myself to save money...I wonder if Tonya Harding is doing consulting work
these days? Man, these to-do lists just keep getting longer and longer!

okay, your stories are killing my cracked rib today you evil bunny!!!!
<giggling>

yes, and that's why i'm convinced my cat is trying to kill me when she
weaves in and out of my legs. especially when i'm going down the stairs and
she suddenly stops right in front of me.

well, he did have that driving cat named toonces. :D
omg, here's a youtube video (making my rib hurt again, dammit!)

yeah, i'm always wondering where that 21 year old woman went and who the
heck is this poor replacement?
experience first thing in the morning -- and my eyes seem to be

heh. but more seriously, i have a scripture on my bathroom mirror that
helps me alot when i'm down on myself. it's Psalm 139:14 and it says, "I
praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Your works are
wonderful, I know that full well."
sometimes that's the only way i can feel good about myself. that God thinks
i'm beautiful no matter what the mirror says. :)
I was going
to go out shopping early today,
me too, but here i sit. :/
but perhaps in the interest of not leaving a
trail of stone statues in my wake as I encounter my fellow citizens of
Seattle,
i didn't realize you were in seattle! both of my daughters have visited
there in the past 2 years. the oldest one went a year ago, thanksgiving,
because her boyfriend of 2.5 years' parents live there, and the middle one
because she had a nationals softball tourney there in the summer of '06.
i've never been myself, but would love to see it. both daughters loved
it!!!

you aren't going shoe shopping, are you? ;-)
I hope your day is starting out better! :-)
it's starting out rather slow, that's for sure! i did manage to fold a load
of clothes, though. maybe i'll venture out to the stores this evening. i
have a kohls coupon ($20 in free stuff) to spend and it expires tomorrow, so
i just GOTTA go spend it! ya know?!! i sure can't pass up an opportunity
for FREE stuff!!! that would just be criminal!

well, you'll never find a place better than this one. IMHO of course. ;-)
