i hit 145 miles per hour |
on the interstate. looking back, i wish i had died. perhaps i did, and
this is some sort of perpetual limbo. i hesitate to call it Hell, because
i'm sure it can get much worse.
what can i do but bend over and take it like a man.
life, keep kicking me down. see if i give a *****.

You are putting other people's lives at risk by driving too fast.

Michael you sort of sound like I do. I've often considered life on earth
hell, and that heaven is actually getting to die and leave this fucking
place. If we ***** up, we are destined to repeat our lives here on earth
until we get it right. So in essence earth is hell...

Jane, i believe i died a long time ago. or that i am in one of the
universes in which life is hell. you pass from universe to universe
depending on life choices. i suppose that's my interpretation of free will,
quantum style.

Michael that's an interesting theory. I too believe I died a long time ago,
I only wish I could remember my earlier life so that I could fix what ever
it is I'm doing wrong so that someday, when I die again, I don't have to be
reborn again.
We all have our own theories, I'm just wish I knew which one is truth.

Some of us have kept the same nick for ten years or more. Some of us
even use our real names. Swapping around (like millipede man) does not
inspire confidence in me, at least.

Alan,
i don't use my real name because of stigma from potential employers. were i
on SSI or SSDI, i would use my real name. i did use my full name at
university.
this topic came up once before in a post by Bev Thorton. and Luna was

Yea, just take a look at what's going on in a.s.d.medication and you'll
see why it's not safe to use your real name if you make waves on Usenet.

and to all the naysayers out there (that means you Millipede Man), i hit 145

speeds. i rarely hit 80 or 90 even on turnpikes.

I've not grown up yet I guess, even at an almost 40 I enjoy speed, but only
if I'm behind the wheel. I need to have the control over it. Just today I
was driving 105 on the way to the airport. I rarely do the speed limit, and
I know should I crash, I will probably not survive.

Honestly U2b, I hope no one else is unfortunate enough to get in my way if I
do crash. I try to behave more in heavy traffic, but honestly I'm still a
bit careless. I guess I should work on that. I don't do it when my Teen's
are in the car, and I don't tend to drive that way with a car load of people
but I do find myself taking a lot more risks when I am alone.

do you think it's a bit of a suicidal urge maybe? i know that sometimes i
will drive without my seat belt as sort of a "dare" if you know what i mean.
i'm glad you don't drive that way with your teenagers. you don't want them

I know it's suicidal urges. I'm not worried if I die in a crash. I would
be grateful should I crash and not survive it, but I can't actually do it...
Does this make any sense?

I don't want my teens to be anything like me. I have this mask I wear. Not
real, but I put on a happy face around people and my kids, I can't bewho I
really am round anyone. For that matter, I'm not sure I know who the real
