i hope i get sick |
my younger son has a bad cold. my husband has been out of work
for the past 2 days with it, running a temp of 102f. i feel like
i'm coming down with something. in a way, i hope i get a full-
blown case of it. then i'll have an excuse to act like i feel.

I like sick , the woman I live with lets me pick my own meds when I'm sick ,
and when I fake sick she makes me drink tamarack tea

to be honest with you women can handle pain or sickness better than
men do and it's a proven fact. as a dad i find my kids bring home the
craziest viruses and infections and i catch them too but if i catch
something they don't catch it and for once i'd like to give them a
cold for a change. ;-)
stay strong for your family but when they get better tell them to take
care of you.
take care of yourself and i hope you feel better.

thanks. i almost never get sick. the kids bring home colds to
joe and he brings them home from the university, but somehow i
never get them. i think i'm going to fight this one off, too.
just feel wiped and not great for a couple of days.

According to some study, depressives feel pain more acutely, from being more
sensitive to things or something like that. But as for women and pain, they
may feel it just the same , but they just can't do anything about it, they
have to carry on with kids, housework, work, and being there for everyone. so
that's why they 'handle' it.
