i hope the raccoons are gone |
i've got a chocolate pecan pie sitting out on the porch cause it
won't fit in the fridge. i hope all the critters have gone
elsewhere.

Do raccoons come and go? They don't have regular
routes to check? Sounds like you need a food safe
type thing.

we had problems with them 6 months ago, but they haven't been
around lately. just hoping they aren't back! i could have put
the pie in a cooler chest, but didn't. that would lessen the
smell, anyway, though they could still get into it.

I'll bet they could open a safe....they are pretty clever little buggers.
We used to bunge our garbage cans shut and they'd roll them around at night
and bang them against the house to shift the lids ajar to get their paws
in....
