But don't think you can possibly know anything about me from reading my
posts, because this is just the internet, and what I write in now way
relfects anything about what I'm like in real life.

I don't think anyone can really know anyone well,not even our
closest relatives and friends-so we certainly can't know much about
strangers who post highly selective posts on Usenet... John just said
something about soap operas,that is what ASD seems to me to be
sometimes-a world hidden away from our everyday worlds,where we get a
slight glimpse into other people's lives-it suits people's
simultaneous emotional needs for revelation and concealment...
