The same thing happened to me last week.
I knew I couldn't touch it and I knew it
was a goner. Helpless. I sure hope the
hits slow down for you, my friend. Maybe
you're feeling the sad feelings so you
can push them out. Sort of emotional
purging. Maybe.

i fell asleep last night ,

Yeah, it's hard to explain when those
kinds of struggles/changes are going on.
I think that's one of the reasons people
make music. If that makes sense. And,
fwiw, I have a Dyer quote propped on my
monitor these days:
"Become conscious of the energy levels
of your acquaintances, friends and
extended family. Choose to be in close
proximity to those who are empowering,
who see greatness in you, who feel
connected to spirit."
It may not always be apparent in our
chats and banter, but that's why I
choose to be in close proximity to you,
%. You are connected to spirit and I
think you know I am, too. Both in our
differently flawed human ways, but
connected to spirit nonetheless. Well,
I'm flawed anyways. You, of course, are

Omigawd, my dad said the same thing. He
did a lot of word games, none of which I
can recall at the moment. We also
debated whether the year 1900 was the
last year of a century or the first. The
"new" millennium and partying like it's
1999 would have killed him. Bless his soul.

Yes, he was. Mostly served in the
Philippines. Awarded a Bronze Star which
means, for sure, he saw some bad stuff
and made some bad stuff happen. He saw a
psychiatrist for about 6 months after he
came back -- which was kind of unusual
in those days. He never, never talked
about his war experiences, except for
how much he loved the Aussies. He was
the most decent man I've ever known.
