i screwed up |
yesterday i helped my kid take photos of all 9 cats for a class
project. went to delete a blurry pic of the last cat, and
managed to fully erase all 36 photos on the card, including all
my vacation photos.
filled out a 2-page form on my son and his learning habits, took
an hour to do. found out today that i'd done it for the wrong
kid.
fell back to sleep this morning, woke to a phone call from my
pdoc, an hour away, to find out why i wasn't at his appt. the
first school/work day of the week is supposed to be monday,
dammit.
only a couple of days in, but already this just isn't my week.

I missed an appt. last month. nobody's called
and I'm trying to get my drivers' licence back
to operational status. need to redo all the tests
including the driving test; the Trans-Hell Vehicle
doesn't have a passenger seat. gotta fix that...
unless, of course, the examiner wants to waive
the drive-test part. having stayed undercover
for a decade, with most of it driving a fucking
huge all-manual cargo van, oughtta count, eh?
of course, the examiner will be warned up-front
that customized techniques have been developed
and it's not a good idea to play emergency stop...
a few hundred pounds of flying tools ain't too-cool
