i picked up my son's horn that was in for repair, chiropractor
for what turned out to be a dislocated shoulder, luncheon at the
university, grocery shopping, took my son to his therp appt,
younger son to tae kwan do, heated dinner, both sons to older
son's tae kwan do, then finally home. i'm exhausted!

yup, that's a hectic day.. ..so your shoulder was dislocated?
...I mostly did laundry and dishes, ran to the bank to deposit a cheque,
store to get diapers, then took a nap..
...I always wished I'd taken some kind of martial arts or self-defense
course..(I guess it's never too late) ..it must be a real confidence builder
for your sons.
hope you get some needed sleep..

i was surprised to find out that my shoulder was fully
dislocated. i have very loose joints, and it partially
dislocates (subluxates) frequently. all i noticed this time
was that it really hurt to move it some ways and had little
strength. putting it back wasn't pleasant, but at least it
moves right now.
i'm doing laundry as we speak. ran out of clean shirts today,
so i'm wearing a nice wool sweater instead of my usual sweats
or cotton sweaters.
wait two years, then start your son in martial arts. there's a
4-yr-old in daniel's tae kwan do beginner's class now. he's
not very good, but boy is he cute! they usually start in
kindergarten or 1st grade, but they will take younger kids.
eventually, you could take classes together.
i slept like crap again last night, turned off my alarm and
went back to sleep this morning. i woke up 15 minutes before i
had to leave for my therp appt. at least i made it just a few
minutes late.
hope your day went well.

my dad had that problem for awhile.. ...his used to pop out all the time for
a couple years.. ..hasn't bothered him though for about 5 years now
though...

I have a coupon for a free month of "karate-do" (whatever that is) that I'm
sorta maybe considering using.. ..it expires in June..

blarg.. ..I know how that goes.. ..I've woken up 10 minutes before Uni final
exams.. ..it's funny how a 20 minute walk can become a 6 minute sprint..
hope your day went well.
thanks Lisa.. ..it went pretty much good.. ..I finally put the finishing
touches on a shower stall in a half-bathroom I've been working on since
Monday. toilet was moved to where a sink had been, and then I installed a
new sliding-door-shower-stall where the toilet had been. (it was a tiny
bathroom). the reconfiguring of all the underlying plumbing was the greater
task..
it sure was nice to stand back at the end, and be able to appreciate the
vast improvement I'd made to that crappy little bathroom. It made more
sense for this bachelor suite to have a shower instead of a sink in the
bathroom, as the kitchen sink was just around the corner from the bathroom.
I'm babbling now.. ..but yeah, it felt good to do a good job..
hope you have a better sleep tonight lisa..
peace
Ty

when we bought our tiny house, they'd managed to squeeze a
toilet, sink, and maybe 1/2 normal-sized shower into the
bathroom, which had been bumped into a corner of the main
living space. a full-sized shower would have been nice. the
shower had to have a curtain so there was someplace for the
elbow to go while washing at the sink...

*maybe* this is better than when one's shoulder
is glued to some ther bone. (I forget the medical
name) the surgical treatment for that, from what
I've hear is ghastly sounding.

have you heard about the "memory foam" matress? It's used by Nasa
astronauts... I just got one yesterday... It's supposed to be really
comfortable... I haven't noticed anything yet, but I'm hopeful...

i'm sleeping on a waterbed with a lambswool cover over it. the
bed's comfortable. i just can't sleep. i think it might have
something to do with my sleep apnea, but i'm not sure.
good luck with your mattress. my parents love theirs.
