I think I just broke my neck. |
I heard it go. It was loud; Nelly woke up on the next chair. Maybe I'd
better not move my head in case it drops off.

Maybe you'd better order a spare?
In the meantime put a bell around your neck. That way when (if?) your head
does fall off you will be able to find it without looking for it, which
would be hard (looking, I mean) with your eyes down under the desk and your
shoulders way up by the light switch.
