Object: I think the meds are helping.
It'll be two weeks on Monday that I started them. I think it's kind of
soon, but then again I'm feeling less horrified by life, so I think
that's a good sign. Go, Luvox, go!

I wonder if doing visualisations the way some cancer patients do would
help with depression treatment.
In some Himalayan cultures, people 'charge' medications with visualised
'light'. A few of them do rituals and use little plates or cloths
with yantras on them. They put the pills in the center of the yantra, say
a prayer, do some ritual, some visualisation, meditation and the pill is
blessed. When it is taken, they visualise the blessing going throughout
their bodies.
Maybe I should try it myself, but I sure would like someone to do a real
study as has been done with cancer patients.
Go, Luvox, Go! eh?

Glad to hear it.
Keep in mind there can be a placebo effect with any drug that can last a
while.
Keep taking them and pay attention to what's going on with you.

Indeed! Go, Luvox, Go! :-)
Something I experience long before the drugs kick in is an optimism that
comes from knowing that I did something and, thus, better times are
ahead. Does that ring true for you?

glad it's helping. I tried that one and felt like a breathing zombie on it.
No emotion what so ever and sleep? It was an odd experience.
