If you get angry over my posts, then your anger is "dysfunctional." |
It only raises your blood pressure and it doesn't make me feel bad. If
it was functional I would keep it, but since it isn't, dump it.
Events and circumstance alone do not cause anger. Anger results from
how people view what happens to them. There are four types of
thinking that typically create dysfunctional anger.

Experience qualifies me. A wide range of differing experiences that
can't be pulled down into a simple schematic. All with different
atmospheres, moods and rules.
I am not a student in these matters.

If experience qualifies you, then it qualifies me. Right? Is there
any worthwhile function that you can find in getting angry at one of
my posts?

It doesn't qualify you to talk about experiences you haven't actually had.

I don't understand the word funciton. It makes me think you're getting
angry and loosing yourself into a flow of obsession.

I can't make you think anything. If you think I am obsessed, then
remember this. You could be right or you could be wrong. You might
not have enough information yet to form an opinion, so don't judge me.

How would you know if he feels anger or not? You have NO clue what he
thinks or feels, it's all merely conjecture on your part.

But he's got a Funciton®. Which, in case anybody doesn't know, is a
really cool old electronic drum machine from the early 1970's, one of
the first ever made. Groups like the "Funky Fortune Tellers" and
"Katastrofee" used to use it a lot. It lets you dispute your irrational
beliefs to a nifty beat.

I don't understand the word loosing. It makes me think you perceive him
as becoming unraveled. (Which would be apt, now that I ponder on it.)

"Loosing" was a way of introducing a limited amount of random variation
into the rhythms produced by the Funciton®. Also called "humanizing", it
made it sound a little more natural and less machinelike.

no purpose is served by being angry at a fool, but one may point out that
you're a fool without being the slightest bit angry about it.
