What are 'twinkies'? (It sounds vaguely, well, not to be mentioned in
polite company, if you see what I mean).

I saw them when I was visting asdérs in the US. The are soft cakes with
a filling, iirc. I didn't try them. They looked like they were full of
articificial everythingies. And yes, their shape was somewhat phallic.
Somehow they made me think of the Teletubbies, as well.

Not quite as bad as I thought then :)) They do eat some odd things 'over

They do eat strange things, SOMETIMES. I am simply puzzled byt the
amount of artificial tstuff that si used. And sometimes by portions. I
believe in home-cooked meals. But then I am gradually turning into a
healthy-food-fanatic because my body needs it. I think I am overly aware
of additves etc.
For the recoerd, I had fgood food in the States and I did try some of
the unhealthy stuff, too. Ordering a coffee at Starbucks was an
advetnure. There were about 10 questions to answer before they could
make my coffee (which cost almost $6, iirc). I was overwhelmed.

Healthy eating is a good habit to get into :)) I can manage the eating
part, but 'healthy' takes more effort than I can muster, most of the time.
As for coffee, the main question is "Is it 'Fair Trade'?". After that, I
want /coffee/ - fresh, black, strong, and hot. I do like to try different
regions, or even plantations, for variety; the different tastes can be
surprising - and there is no need to add anything. The method is important
too; 'filter' generally loses most of the taste, but 'jug', 'plunger',
'vacuum', 'Neapolitan', 'espresso', ... oh dear, so much coffee, so little
time!
This is a good site <http://www.fantes.com/coffees.htm>.
