I'm Hearing Voices |
I'm Hearing Voices
I think that means I am going insane.
My psychiatrist always asks me this question but I will never admit
it. Today I am hearing them all the time. What should I do?

You had better tell your psychiatrist, so he can prescribe medication to
address the problem with the voices. Medications such as Geodon, Abilify,
and Zyprexa are often used for this purpose, and easily available with a
prescription.

Thanks for all your concerned replies to someone who posts problems
like this. I agree with you and hope he/she will confide in his/her
doctor....when information is withheld, appropriate and the most
helpful treatment can't be administered.

Tell your psychiatrist. There's meds that'll probably clear the
problem right up. Hallucinations sometimes come with severe
depression. I hear music and voices that I can almost tell what
they're saying. My doc put me on an antipsychotic and they're
gone.
If the voices are telling you to hurt yourself or someone else,
go to the emergency room. That's got to be dealt with right
away. Otherwise, try not to panic, but call your doctor and ask
to be seen at their first opening. You'll be ok.

point in time. Suggest keeping on medication, and visiting

is my website. I hope that you are doing ok. I also hear voices, I think it
is paranormamal sometimes, in a real way. Most therapists though would
believe otherwise.
