i'm so psyched about my new front door... |
my hubby is finally putting the finishing touches on varnishing it this
week, and will hopefully be able to install it next weekend.
i'll be posting "before" and "after" pics.

I remember your posting links to show somewhat what it looks
like. Beautiful. I'd be psyched, too. Enjoy!
Our oak door has gotten fine cracks in it, I think from the
extreme temperature variations we have here, something you can
worry less about.

yes, we've had the door awhile, but hubby has just been a bit slow in
getting it standed, stained and varnished. when our doorknob fell off last
week, he finally got going on the new door. :/
Our oak door has gotten fine cracks in it, I think from the
extreme temperature variations we have here, something you can
worry less about.
that's one reason greg is taking so much time to put lots of coats of things
on it to protect it. but you're right...we don't have extreme temp
variations here.
