I'm so sick, I've gotta whine about it... |
I think I have a hole in my lung.. I have a fever.. ...asthma/bronchitis
like never before, my sinus's are so stuffed up and verging on infection..
...blood in mucus. my head fills like it was banged around inside a giant
wok.
at least I had thanksgiving supper yesterday.. ..cuz I'm missing another one
at a friends' house right now..

I'm sick too :( I have been for about two weeks now. I've been going
along as if I'm feeling fine but it's really taking it's toll on me. I
have a therapy appointment tomorrow and I'm sure I will get bitched out
for this because people are constantly telling me to lay the ***** down.
Anyways, I hope you (and me) feel better soon. :)

I'm sick too :( I have been for about two weeks now. I've been going
along as if I'm feeling fine but it's really taking it's toll on me. I
have a therapy appointment tomorrow and I'm sure I will get bitched out

pneumonia!!! it sounds to me like you have an pneumonia. get your
but to the doctor right now!!. This is nothing to fool around with.
Your lungs could fill up with fluid and you could drown. Go get
checked out. you have all the symptoms including the rust colored

My sister died of pneumonia. After all the years of abusing drugs
and alcohol her body just wasn't strong enough to survive it. I miss

Hi Gayle,
It was june 15th 1999.
She went to sleep and just never woke up. The doctor said it was an
pneumonia. Her lungs had filled up with fluid and she drown.
She had been drinking heavily for about ten years maybe longer. Its
hard to remember now just when it got completely out of control.
She had short term memory loss at the end.She would call someone and
an hour later have no memory of it at all. This was when she wasn't
drinking heavily. So she had done some damage.
She quit drinking once. AA. It works if you work it. She was sober
for 4 years.
There are different kinds of drunks. The maitence drinkers are
harder to spot. They just stay a little stoned all the time. Just
enough to keep that buzz going. Unless you are paying attention you
don't even notice . Then there are your binge drinkers who just
drink untill they black out or worse. Susan was a binger , she
would go for awhile , just drinking enough to keep the shakes away but
sooner or later she would lose it and go on a bender, drink for maybe
two , three days heavily. It was hard on everybody. Still I never
felt like she did it to me. She did it to herself. I never
understand when people have an alcoholic in there family and they say,
"how could you do this to me". An alcoholic is pretty much content to
hurt themselves if you get caught in the fall out it is not
intentional.
She had this way of taking a nothing day and making it fun. A trip
to the grocery store was an adventure with her. She made it like a
treasure hunt. I loved her.
