That was a bit of "Parliamo Glasgow" by Stanley Baxter. A kinda spoof
take on how academia sees those outside the middle-classes. There are
things like, "wehudarerrterratraferr", which means "we had a good day
out at the local fair". Remember to rrroll yerrr rrr's. ;)--

Wikepedia - "a creature who can only perform good or evil is a
clockwork orange—meaning that he has the appearance of an organism
lovely with colour and juice, but is in fact only a clockwork toy to
be wound up by God or the Devil or (since this is increasingly
replacing both) the Almighty State".
Janice, a transexual in my one inpatient experience, explained it
during one group session...that's a pretty fucked up memory there....
a tranny, a stanley kubrick film, and inpatient psychiatric care,
hehe---a pretty miserable time for me

people with borderline personality disorder can generally only
see things as right or wrong, all good or all bad. there is no
middle ground. i would therefore assume that they see their own
actions this way. so, perhaps, from their own perspective, they
are a clockwork orange.

That sounds...interesting. At the very least.

Excellent movie; I have it on DVD. The book is a must read also. Kubrik
omitted the last chapter of the book when he wrote the script.
Wasn't the movie originally banned in England?

And in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. ;p Seriously, as far as I
recall Kubrik actually withdrew it himself after some complaints of
copycat behaviour. "Singing In The Rain" used to be such a cheery
little song...

Just checked wikipedia:

Seems he withdrew it on advice from the police after he and his family
recieved death threats.
There are some really, really DUMB people in the world.

Some people, both here and in the USA, banned Harry Potter books from
schools as encouraging Devil worship. Dumb people aren't always as
silent as they should be.

The opinions given above may be mine. They might also
just be what I feel like saying right now, okay?
