In America .... |
Is it common for a SWAT team to put about
14 cans of tear gas, drive up in a tank, for a
domestic dispute, knock down half the house?
Just watching another one of those CI channel shows.

Sadly yes.
....it also wouldn't be surprising if they killed everyone in the house
before realizing they were at the wrong address.

I told you this was going to happen.

a friend of mine was kicked out of the army for getting utterly drunk
and just driving tanks over a small town.
his brother was kicked out for asking too many questions about Buddhism.

I saw some show about a guy who stole a tank and went mental
driving over cars, wiping out a large camper truck, a number of
light posts and other street furniture.
Yeah, it's a worry.

Fair enough.
Crime in the USA seems to me weird.
When visiting there I almost caught some c**t
breaking into a car at a hotel I was staying at.
Quite bizarre as the US seems a nice place to be.
Crime in Australia is not at the same level. That said,
I still would not leave my pickup truck parked in some
areas. A lot of places I don't even lock it. Other places
I lock it and apply steering club lock.
Dunno, a lot of the Cops type shows, the officers
get really aggressive. Then again, it is a TV show,
so need to make it look dramatic.

Yes, it's extremely common, I see this all the time. About 1/3 of the
houses on my street alone have been knocked down in this manner.

Really, here too...everyday, I lose another neighbor to SWAT. It's
the inconvenience of the flash grenades which nearly make me spill my

watch them cable tie the kids and the grandmothers.

This stuff is Vehicle, Driver, Conditions.
I kinda get off on how vehicles perform in accidents.

It wasn't really that interesting. However having an

Just watching another one of those CI channel shows.
Yes, it's extremely common, I see this all the time. About 1/3 of the
houses on my street alone have been knocked down in this manner.
You must live in a bad neighborhood. In the last two or three years
my house has only rarely been knocked down by a tank. Hardly ever.
