Is this the newsgroup for the mentally retarded? |
I came to this newsgroup to discuss depression. How to cope with it,
overcome it, and live with it. I had assumed this newsgroup was for
that purpose. Instead I find this newsgroup is a place for the most
mentally retarded people of society to post complete useless
gibberish? After reading it for several days, I am convinced that all
the most braindead morons in this world use this newsgroup to speak
words that mean absolutely nothing. I can only assume this newsgroup
is being mostly used by patients in mental asylums who are so pumped
full of drugs that they can only lay around all day talking about the
last time they took a *****, while shitting in their beds, and telling
their hallucinations to themselves because no one else can comprehend
words. It's a relief to know that this is the only newsgroup these
psycho patients can access from these psych wards. I really hope the
hospital staff soon finds out these patients are playing with the
hospital's computers and put all of you patients back in your
straightjackets or cart you off to get your much needed lobotomies.
All of you in mental asylums, please turn off the computers. You are
being watched by cameras and your doctors and staff. They know you
are playing on their computers and if you keep doing it, they will

in an attempt to get of fluoxetine and temazepam i am taking part in a
drugs trial.
Mrs pv saw an advert in The Daily Express newspaper 4 weeks ago asking
for volunteers who suffer from depression to take part in a trial for
two different drugs.
as I'm no longer working i decided to give it a go an phoned them up.
i had a long telephone assessment with them (The Institute of
Psychiatry) and was deemed to be suitable to take part so of i went to
London to have a session with a psychiatrist.
they were particularly interested in my case due to depression running
in the family.
i had two weeks flushing the fluoxetine out of my system and am now
taking Nortriptyline.
25mg week 1
50 mg week 2/3
75 mg week 4(this week)
They phone me once a week and i have a help line if needed which i
have not needed to use.
all in all I'm feeling much better than when on fluoxetine and have
not taken any temazepam for a month which is great.
the side effects are dry mouth and not pooing regularly but i
consider them to be a fair exchange for the improvement in my health.

That fantastic, I hope it continues for you. As far as the pooping
goes, make sure you're eating roughage, i.e. leafy greens, fiber,
etc. Little bit a prune juice or apple juice might help, if the foods
don't get things moving you could take a mild laxitive.

I fully agree with this. From what I read on here, at least 95% of
the posters must be using computers at insane asylums. Many will be
caught in the act and either be placed in solitary confinement after
being overdosed on drugs, or will simply be killed. There are idiots
on all newsgroups, but this group is ALL idiots. I thought I might
find some helpful information on here but instead I found nothing but
