I'm home safe and sound and everything went well. :) As you guys said,
the procedure was a cinch and drinking the stuff before-hand was the
worst part although I didn't find that particularly difficult either.
They took off a couple of polyps to send for investigation and I have
diverticulitis (going to look that up in a minute) and roids, but
apart from that I am healthy.
So wombn, your turn next hey? (believe me they are used to sooks, and
people with phobias, because I was shaking when I got up onto the
table and crying like a big baby, however they understood my past and
made allowances and were very, very kind).
I have a little stomach tenderness this morning but I'm hoping that I
can go about my usual daily affairs without too much trouble.
I am so pleased to be home! :) :)
Thank you for your help through out this time. It is very much
appreciated.
best,
G

hehe thanks elegy. No, it isn't at all as bad as it sounds, and I had
a very strong phobia about it for a long, long time. I had past
history of trauma in the area, so I reckon that all in all they did a
darned good job. Me too actually. :)

Yes it made it 100 times easier. I'm guessing that they have many
people through who have problems with the whole deal.
I need to have follow ups every 3 years from now on, so I won't be so
afraid next time. The guy I had was very caring too and approachable.

Well, I think I have a few more years yet before they'll insist on it.
No history in my family and all.

Well that is very, very good. Perhaps when you are over 50 or so? We
have history in our family, so it was good I went in.
