It's not gonna snow until Halloween, it seems to be a tradition as far back
as I can remember. Made it kind of suck as a youngster trying to score some
sugary loot.
But when it does snow it usually only hangs around for a couple days and
then it's gone.
I'm waiting for a REAL hell of a snowstorm, that hasn't happened for a
couple of years now.

I didn't see/touch snow until age 16 or so. Last time it snowed where I
live, that was during the 1950s; last time before that, 100 years
earlier; hadn't I gone to a ski resort nearly 400 km from where I live
