it's 60 degree's in here |
my bedroom...25 degree's outside and the snow is still coming down
when I got home tonight in entry was to the 3 apartments there's a
large bulletin board the owner/manger, Denise makes her pronouncements
on...new one (Denise almost topped her "best" says -- NOTICE it was
all in caps we will not being 'plowing the parking lot on weekends as
it is to expensive -- mind you btwn 7pm tonight and 7pm Sun night we
supposed to get 12 inches of snow and it has been coming down no stop
since 6pm
expensive,,,,Bull *****..her husband does the maintenance he has 2
different plow attachements for his large truck and they have several
large snow blowers...so where is the expense! hubby doesn't want to
work on weekends is the expense
problem there many ppl here w/severve disabilties..what if they need
an ambulance? it happens a lot here
rent is income based so if you're low income you rent is low Denise
hates that, also gas & electric are included..though before it kept at
68 fair enough ...I check the thermostat in living/dining room that's
up 64
I keep wall therometer is the bedroom it's 60 in there
some apartments pay full rent those ppl get set their thermostat they
also don't have to pay repairs, they get to paint, and they even real
wall to wall carpeting
the rest of us have outdoor careptong in our places
Denise's "best" anoucement happened when the kids were goin around
with a petition to get a playground, it asked everyone to chip in
$2.00 but not before Denise approved it...hell no
back to the bulletin board...in caps again
Any petition regarding Maple Court is banned, if anyone signs one it's
ground for eviction and she actually put it in the lease!
no one has repairs down because they make you pay for it and most of
the ppl here are low income she knows we're stuck and can't move else
where
that's me
don't ever make a complaint agnst her...she always find out then finds
some little clause in the lease..you get evicted..I've seen it happen
many times
better yet, her daughter lives here has been arrested twice for coke
says right in the lease any drug related charges will be grounds for
eviction
the topper -- Denise is letting her daughter slowly take over...I have
chronic pain and the meds for it...they do yearly inspections..I'm
going to put them all in bag the night before..then hide them & locked
in my car

I can't get HUD because I was an idiot let my ex talk me into not
reporting him of coarse she found out, we owed her $6,000 I manged to
pay back $3,000 of it, that was when I worked on SSI now and Worker's
Comp (large check of $100.24 every 2 weeks)...I live below the poverty
level

Can't you report them? What they're doing would be illegal here in a geared
to income building or unit.

yes many of the things they do in this apartment complex if illgeal my
daughter who is a paralegal told the lease wouldn't hold in court of
law but afriend who did take them to court the judge said it was legal
because she had signed...you can't live here unless you sign the lease
anybody that's reported the ***** (I don't use that word lightly)
ended up being evicted she finds some small clause in the leash plus
also they have a scanner in the office that picks up on phone calls if
you cordless or cell phone that's not illegal to do, can't be used in
court they still do it and get dirt on you
and they know most of people here can't afford to move, like me

I'd do it using my pickup truck. Seems like fun.
The apartment block I live in, various folk take on
duties as taking out the trash, other things are paid
by the body corparate, such as grounds maintenance.

That seems a bit nasty.
I have an issue (well not really) in the appartment block
I live in, there are are a number of residents having a
little bit of a problem paying into the elevator update
fund.
