summer they're open wed. afternoons. with the raccoons around,

are's is open nearly everyday i think ,
but only wednesday for household type stuff ,
and raccoons don't live here

i just moved, and i feel like all i've been doing for the past two
weeks is dumping stuff. even after all of that, when i was finally
done packing and when i started unpacking i couldn't get over how much
crap i had. how do we manage to collect so much in our lives, and what
percentage of it do we actually really need? what percentage of it do
we actually really want?
if today is official dump day, i'm taking the upside down potporri
holder with no bottom so that every time you move it, potpurri falls
out. i hated it when someone gave it to me as a present, and i hate it
now.

Only two weeks? you were lucky. I reckon it'll take us a couple of
years.
And that doesn;t include the stuff we didn't bring with us.

I like to throw things away. I find it very cathartic I feel better ,
relived for about half a day or so. Depending on how much junk I
unload. Fact is I have thrown away some great stuff! crazy jill. I
know that its me I am trying to throw away but somehow knowing
doesn't help. I am complusive about throwing things away. garbage
compulsion! jill

i think i'm the same but not so intense ,
i feel lighter and think clearer after a trip to the dump ,
i just hate having stuff that needs to be tossed ,
waiting for the time when i can toss it ,
even with the computer i'm constantly cleaning the history and cache files
.

My wife's finally given me permission to throw away some bags of bedding
we haven't touched in twelve years. Of course, she has the car tomorrow,
and by Friday she'll probably have changed her mind.
