I fell asleep in my favorite armchair, watching TV. Now I just woke up
and am about to go to bed.

It's raining outside. It isn't often one hears the calming sound of
raindrops hitting the window here.

Makes me think of another pleasant sound, one that we *never* hear
where I live now. The very quiet sound of slowly falling big
snowflakes gently hitting your clothes. You can only hear it when you
are outside and there is no wind and no noise.
