Object: i've been up
for 4 hrs now. time to take a nap...
trying to get through 2 chapters of my programming book today,
but so far it's just 2 pages.
i don't know how folks use multiple languages at once.
especially when operators in one language mean something
completely different in another.

i agree
Two is good for me
(besides earth languages that is)
and they are very different from each other
if there is to be a 3rd - which will probably happen eventually, i'll try be
careful not to go with 1 with too many confusing similarities
hope you make it through those 2 chapters ok

I don't know how but somehow it works. It maybe just needs practice.
Not only practicing the languages but also the "switching".

I use multiple languages at once, both in the programming as well as in the
linguistic sense. Not always to good effect, I must admit.
I am not really sure how I do it, though, somehow it comes naturally.
But C++ is way beyond me.

my only real problem so far is that there are statements which
are valid in both languages which mean entirely different
things. otherwise, it's not so bad.
i wish i was fluent in languages other than english. i used to
speak french well, but lost it over years of disuse.
