Until I read this remark, I'd had a lot of sympathy for your personal
situation. I suppose I still do have some, but it's harder for me to
work up sympathy for someone who behaves disrespectfully toward other
people.
I've never seen IMM behave hypocritically. I've seen him say things
that others have disagreed with, but that doesn't make him a
hypocrite. I have also seen him behave consistently with courtesy
towards people who do disagree with him, a trait worth emulating.

Does it ever bother you to be so painfully predictable all the time? Now,
go back to the anonymous remailer and start swearing at and about me again.

But do you think Kerry has a chance of winning without attacking
Bush?If it were possible for Kerry to be positive and win,I'd agree
with you.But Bush has so much money and power at his disposal.I'm sure
Bush will do anything he can to win, including running as negitive a
campaign as possible. How else can Kerry win except by fighting back?

I'm not saying that Kerry should refrain from any mention of Bush. I
definitely think he should confront Bush with the issues because I would
prefer to hear where he stands on the issues as opposed to his opinions
about how bad Bush's stand on the issues is. I just wish it didn't have to
be with the mudslinging. And yes I do know that Bush is now starting to do
it too. Sadly, mudslinging has become the rule whereas in the past it was
more often the exception.

Except lots of mudslinging from both sides with as little
as possible discussion of actual controversial issues. For example,
Kerry will not explicitely mention that he will revoke most
of Bush's tax cuts to reduce the budget deficit, and
Bush will not say by how much he already
plans to overdraw the military budget.

The thing I enjoy the most about Kerry's campaign is the gleeful support
he's receiving from Mitt Romney, the (Republican) governor of
Massachusetts. When asked if he thinks Kerry will be the Democratic
candidate, Romney will go on and on about the sterling qualities of 'our
legendary senator' and then add: "He's the best thing that could happen to
George Bush's campaign."

I think that Bush would prefer Howard Dean over John Kerry
as the Dems 2004 candidate.
