joke is on me |
i think, inevitably, the joke is on me. whether it's humanity, or a deity,
he's getting the last laugh. i should just bend over and take it like a
man.

no, not an original thought, I always thought god was getting a good
laugh when he made me, up there and I'm his puppet, seeing just how
I'll react to the next turn of events and having the laugh of his life.

One would assume so. My shrink confirmed it. She says a persecution
complex is arrogant. That - much to my chagrin - the universe and its
supposed omnipotent God do not revolve around me.

a shrink said, the epitome of philosophical thought. when i need
information on God, i often consult the equivalent of a human mechanic.
