My son's is the 18th. It can be hard on parents coming up with
gift ideas for both simultaneously. It can be fun for the kid,
though. My son likes the idea of extra presents.

LOL, yes, more presents. We try to be sure not to short change our
daughter since her birthday is so close to the holidays, when we are
already spending a lot of money.
When I was younger I used to think my birth date was just right, so
they could save up every 6 months to have the maximum allowable income
to be able to spend on me ;-) Didn't work out that way but it was
still fun to think about that.
