If my memory is correct (ha!), the polls show that about 90% of the
population here are in favour of voluntary euthanasia. It's just the
politicians who aren't, so the Private Member's Bills don't get passed.

Some people manage to go to Switzerland to end their lives quickly and

I watched a documentary on the Armenian genocide and they had interviews
with survivors, who testified to the things Kervokian says. It was
probably biassed, or at least most modern Turks would say so, but it
seemed well documented.

I thought about the differences between what it said of the Turks in
1915, and what Germans did in the Thirties and Forties. The Nazis
industrialised mass murder; it was up close and personal for the
Armenians. If the Nazis had force marched the Jews two thousand miles
into the desert to starve, they'd have arranged food supplies at regular
intervals to make sure they got there alive to die.

A higher proportion of Armenians was killed.

Btw, Janithor, this is good material for you: The Turks are Muslim, the
Armenians Xtian, you should see what you can find for your friend the

my god... that's one of the most ridiculous things I've ever
read... The jews were killed in a lot more ways(and ways just as
horrible) then just being gassed... you never stop being horrified and
amazed by the things people say...
