And if three boys had done that to a girl I wonder how long a sentence
they would have got? It would have been a damn sight longer than 4
years, I can tell you that. They wont even serve 2/3 of that. Sexism,
alive and well in the criminal justice system. And as for "The judge
told the girls he was satisfied there had been "some kind of non-
payment of some kind of debt and as a result of that... you decided to
teach the victim a lesson".' What the ***** has that got to do with
anything? Judges making excuses for criminal behaviour now. Wonderful.

Is that the longest sentence they could have gotten under the law because
they're minors?
