i found this site that sells old comics etc and i was thrilled to see
they
were selling judy. every saturday i would go to the shop with my 20p
pocket
money and buy a copy of judy and two bags of crisps. that time sitting
reading the stories about hard done by girls who always made it in the
end
really used to pick me up. i don't have many happy memories of childhood
and
sometimes get upset when i hear people talking about the normal
experiences
of growing up that i missed out on. but looking back through the comics
made
me smile. even if it was only half an hour of happiness it was there.
My wife keeps photos. We have shelves full of albums. Sometimes I go
through them and I get all nostalgic... which is a feeling I have
only recently reacquired. I had it killfiled for years.

hi glenn :) it's funny, i've spent most of my life trying to forget my
childhood and then just by chance i remembered that short time every week
when i was happy. it's something i hold precious now. take care x
