Left my Son in TYexas... |
Well, this was without a doubt the hardest thing I've ever done as a
parent. I know he'll be fine. It's an awesome place, an awsome
ministry. God is going to do so many amazing things in Simon's life
this year.
But we still cried, leaving him. All my life I've cared for him,
protected him, educated him, and now we left him there. It feels so
upstream.
I'd go unpack, but the airline lost our bags. They probably didn't
make the connecting flight. Hopefully they'll be along later.

One of the most amazing things about our flight from Almaty to Honolulu is
that we checked our bags in Almaty all the way through--from Almaty to
Frankfurt, New York, Los Angeles, and Honolulu. And they were here when we
arrived two days later, even though we had missed one connecting flight on
the way.
Hard to leave your son. I bet he's excited.
