lexapro and libido |
I'm male 30 yr. old. and wondering if anyone has also experienced loss
in libido from 10mg of Lexapro. Boy, I have and it takes for ever to
*****. i've been on it 4 months. My Doc andded 150 of Wellbutrin, but it
has been only a month and no return of libido. I just upped the lex to
20mg and then Wellbutrin to 300mg. He wants me to atleast reach our
dose objective. If libido stays asleep we are going to try Effexor. Can
anyone relate their experience.

Any antidepressant can have these types of effects. It can take several
weeks for you to build up a tolerance to the side effect. If it is
distressing and continues, it would be a good idea to mention this to
your doctor. You could take a lower dosage for awhile, then increase it.
