Life just keeps getting better. |
Last month my appendix ruptured and it took me a month to recover.
Just as I was feeling better I started getting pain in my side. They
sent me in for my 3rd CT in a month and found that my colon was
swollen and irritated. Now I have to get a Colonoscopy to see if I
have Crohn's Disease or colon cancer. I am taking more pills then any
one person should. I have so many pain meds in me I am lucky I can
remember my name. And to top it off my grandma calls out of the blue
after 30 years just to chat. Last time I saw her I was 4 years old. I
have not been out of bed in a week can't even clean my own house or
make my kids dinner. And this lady is just cahtting me asking me what
I look like, what color my eyes and hair are. Maybe I am so wacked out
on drugs that I am missing something. Who does that what kind of
person has nothing to do with you for 30 years then calls out of the
blue just to chat? And I always thought I was the crazy one in the
family.
P.S sorry if there are any typos its the drugs.

She might just want to make peace with a large regret she's
had for many years, that she wishes she'd known you. Maybe
she's dying, maybe she's facing mortailty in another way.
Maybe your chat settled her mind that you turned out to be a
good person. Maybe she'll want to talk more, maybe not. That's
in part up to you.

I have nothing to add except the pain will recur whether
the OP continues the contact or not, that's just the way it is.

They feel an "oops" moment of responsibility, otherwise the
thought police will get them. There is otherwise no reason to
talk to them - tell them to GAGF. It's surprising they actually
found out. Other reason: they want something from you for
themselves or other family members.
Treat the situation carefully.
Good luck, and hope you improve.

My mom said maybe she is dying and want to give me some money. I told
my mom I don't want her money. And I hope I will get some answers from
the dr on wednesday.
