Mang is trying to evict me! |
it's so hard to live without him, we just celebrated my grandson's
bday, Rick should have been there, the 2 loved each other so much...our
10 year anniversary is Oct 1 and his bday is Oct 18....i am so utterly
lonely, Pen has deserted me, other friend her husband has cancer...and
one friend we talk on the phone but she a chronic illness....no one
calls other my daughters and my Mom when she wants something
and the housing management is trying get kicked out, the first tried
because of Moe & Rudy, my cats, ***** they've been the only ones to
emotionally support me, they come running every time I cry, but under
the American Disability Act, since I have mental and physical
disabilities, 2 different types of Dr.'s stated that I had to have
these for well being, my family dr and my Pdoc ...Denise (housing mang
was pissed)
so she threw a surprise inspection which is agnst rules as stated in
the lease, I had the bolt thrown she used some type of bar to open the
door and came in when I was sleeping with a HUD person was with her,
the HUD lady backed me said these cats have done no damage to the
apart. and there's absolutely no animal order at all....Denise pulls me
aside and whispers in me ear, I'll take cats of cats and you're going
to be evicted ...I called Legal Aid, they can't do anything until I get
an eviction notice,
then Denise pulls its time to recirt, that's never done until the end
of Jan when my lease is due to expire, I have 2 days notice to proof of
all my income to her or I will have to pay full rent of $650 which is
my total income....then I look at letter it;s dated Oct 1, look at the
postmark it's dated Oct 12!
Also she wants info on all my bank accounts which she never did before,
the lease says you don't have to show that unless you have more $1000
in your accnts....I have extra because Rick's family know how broke I
am (but nothing near $1000) and have helped.....I called her, told
there was "goof up" some place since her letter was dated Oct 1 but was
post marked Oct 12 and that didn't give me the stated amount of time I
was allowed to get this info to her
So I go to HUD to see what type of housing assistance I'm eligible for,
so I can get the hell out of here......I get told I owe them $3000, I
absolutely no memory of this, but there was my signature, when I was
w/my ex David he didn't report his income for awhile, seems I paid on
it for 2 years and then stopped....what it means is I am not eligible
for any type of rental assitance, county, state, or federal....she said
she'd let me slide by and not reporting it to Denise, since my rent is
income based
I have talked w/several other ppl that live here,Denise has maintenance
(her husband) comes into the apartments when ppl are gone, let the cats
loose or kill them...Moe & Rudy are very friendly and will go to
anybody
Can't move in with my Mom, she's headed for the nursing home soon
The more complaints I make against Denise, the more she makes my life
miserable...she knows I grieving over Rick, have clincal depression and
chronic pain
I don't know what to do, the fight in me is gone

I think the poor, sick, and disabled people are treated unfairly in general
in this country. Your experience is probably not unique. I hope it will
work out somehow for you.

this is just plain wrong. you shouldn't have to deal
with this malice. I'm hoping you find allies in this
battle. this is so unfair.
