Markets are collapsing |
x-no-archive: yes
Good news for Canada that the US is doing badly, I guess. I suppose if
their market sinks less than ours, they win?

I'm really wondering how much farther down we go tomorrow. Sick
sense of curiosity.

The market goes up, and the market goes down. Shouldn't be relevant for
most people, in theory. Put your money in a low fee market indexed IRA
and forget about it. That's what I'd do if I had money.
Long term trends are a different matter. I don't see how we get around
the resource constraint problem, plus the wild card of global warming.
Throw in the threat of continuous war and a WMD attack against NYC & DC,
and it gets ugly, IMO. Too many people on the planet. I'm moving to
Canada in the middle of the taiga. All I need is enough bug spray.

We got some money as a gift last year and put it in some
stocks. It's done much better than the market as a whole, at
least.

The US are dragging the world down. Things are not good
in Australia either.

US folk can't pay for their properties though.
