No one. There's one in front of the TV for Thor, but other 3 are in
the dining room, unused except to get up to the table where their food
is.

As I recall, I'm on thin ice here, He had bad eyesight, he
thought he was a Knight (sort of "Round Table" type), and he
thought the windmills were dragons.
Why did he do that?

'Don Quixote' is one of the classic books of all time - one of the first
novels. They made a film/musical out of it - 'Man of La Mancha' - which
is definitely more accessible.
Every time I've tried to read DQ (in translation into modern English),
the size of it stops me. DQ was a simple/saintly/deranged knight who
went around trying to do derrings, but was hindered by his poor
eyesight, high sense of honour, and lunacy. 'Tilting at windmills' (a
standard English phrase) is to fight imaginary enemies, and comes from
DQ's charging windmills, taking them to be giants. His squire - Sancho
Panza - had to get him out of the scrapes he kept getting into.
No doubt Neoholistic can correct and improve on my attempt at a summary.
