| "Daddy not holding hands," she announced to Kristina on the way back.

| then she indicated where I should walk to be safe--"Stay this side," she
| said, pointing. She's so bossy where I am concerned.

| She wanted to sit on my lap tonight, after her bath. I knew that she
wanted
| me to tickle her, and I did. And then picked her up and balanced her
| against the top of my chest so I could tickle her sides. She squealed
with
| laughter. She has a great laugh.

| Later on, she told Kristina that she was a hula dancer. "Do you still
want
| to take a hula class?" I asked her.

| "Yes. And big airplane."
|
| I told her that I thought I could arrange the hula class but that the
plane
| would have to wait for a while. She's at that age where she thinks I
can
| arrange pretty much anything that she asks.

| Life with Maia can be so sweet.
